About Dansville Dance Academy

Braiden danced at the Dansville Dance Academy for 15 years before attending SUNY Geneseo for college. She fell in love with dance at the Dansville Dance Academy as she gained a strong understanding of tap, jazz, and lyrical. Through the studio, Braiden attended workshops with the Manhattan Dance Project that helped her fall in love with a wide range of dance styles, including contemporary and hip hop. In college, she choreographed and danced in several pieces through a dance club called Orchesis. She also attended classes taught by the dance department faculty where she extended her learning in many disciplines like modern, musical theater, tap, jazz, and more. She is always seeking opportunities to learn and further her dance training. She even recently began taking pointe lessons from Miss Lauren!
